In the Love of Friends I Sense the Great Love
Now that I have everything, I realize I only have loving companions. Nothing else matters. Wrapped in the embrace of friends, all else vanishes.
Looking back, I realize that if I had worked as hard to befriend others as I have to gain riches, I would now know and be friends with everyone on Earth. Every morning and every evening I write a list of my gratefulness. It’s almost always a list of my love for friends. Other wealth seldom makes the list.
Today I will cherish the embrace of love. Today I will give thanks for the presence of the Divine in the faces of my friends. My wealth is measured in love.
In that love, the love of friends,
I sense the Great Love.
